Sweet Aallya kesari recipe (Sevige kesari bath)
1 cup Aallya wheat vermicelli
2 cups water
½ cups sugar
2 tbsp ghee
15 nos cashew nuts
12 nos raisins
¼ tsp cardamom powder
Few drops orange food colour
Instructions
Heat 11/2 tbsp of ghee and roast the Aallya vermicelli. Roast cashews in ghee. Boil water in a pan. The roasted vermicelli should be cooked for a few minutes until it is tender and absorbs the moisture. Add sugar and stir well. You can also add a pinch of food color to the mix. Add ghee and cardamom powder when it starts getting thick; mix well and remove from heat. Delicious Aaliya kesari is ready to serve.
